Top Gun. Mmm, i didn't get the fuss. Val has been in some good movies, though. Pineapple headed? Maybe. I'm thankful i got back into my caricatures again because i love it.

Ok, i approached this one with no palett, used the "overlay" method to colour my monochrome version, and caricatured the frikkin' ass off the guy. Hope you likey, ya?

Well, i'm booked in to see a specialist regarding my bad back, been full to the rafters with pills and advice, and have painted quickly and to the point to somehow keep positive and healthy in the mind as well as body.

Being Featured

I hope that i can reach the standards of some of the blogs i follow one day. It's great to see these artists featured on other peoples blogs, especially seing their recent posts featured on a sidebar. I hope to gain more viewers to my caricatures and art and hopefully i can find time to comment on other peoples blogs more.

I hate rushing work just to be able to post it, i feel i sometimes get post hungry and rush work to get feedback and this is very wrong for my caricatures.

I'm getting quicker with my workflow and finding my feet with my style, etc. It's great to have followers to my blog and i really appreciate it, really.

An experiment with the dreaded softer brushes. I was also screen capturing the whole process whilst painting this piece but the final stage crashed. Oh poo! Never mind, i will try to film the next caricature and see what happens.

Well this caricature is from a glam picture of Oprah, i mean, she isn't bad looking and i really didn't want to portray her as a really wide faced creature like some of the caricatures i have seen of her. So... here she is :-)
